AI Literacy
AI literacy is becoming a normal part of engineering interviews.
Sometimes it appears as a dedicated AI interview. More often, it appears inside another round:
- a system design question that includes recommendations, search, chat, copilots, or personalization
- a knowledge round that checks whether you understand models, training, inference, embeddings, or evaluation
- a product or bar round that asks how you would use AI responsibly
- an architecture discussion about cost, latency, safety, data quality, and reliability
This track focuses on clear, interview-ready explanations. The aim is to help you answer simply at first, then go deeper when the interviewer probes.

How to Use This Track
For each topic, prepare three layers:
- a 30-second answer
- a deeper engineering explanation
- examples of where the concept appears in real systems
That structure works whether AI is the main round or a supporting topic inside system design, knowledge, or behavioral evaluation.
